Our mission
The Office of University Events and Strategic Operations plans and executes major university events that support the university’s mission and strategic plan, upholds presidential protocol and enhances the image of the university to its many internal and external constituencies.
Signature events
The office is charged with the execution and coordination of major university events, and assists in the coordination and execution of major VCU Health events.
Our staff provides leadership to the following signature events:
- Universitywide Commencement
- President’s State of the University
- President's Forums
- Faculty Convocation
- Groundbreakings and grand openings
- Community events
- President, Cabinet & Senior Leadership Events
