Built from 1907 - 1911, the Scott House is a three-story, 40,950 square foot, Beaux Arts-style mansion that is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Acquired by VCU in 2001, it was previously used for events and office space. After the completion of a major renovation in the fall of 2020, the building provides multifunctional space to host university and visiting groups on the main floor as well as administrative and meeting spaces on the second and third floors.

The Scott House's first-floor private event space is currently used to support a limited number of university events that support major institutional priorities. The House is not available for public reservations at this time.
